Geoff Simpson is a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio.  He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The Ohio State University.

Upon retiring from a forty-six-year career in the commercial insurance industry, he intensified his pursuits of landscape painting and fly fishing.

His primary painting mediums are watercolor and pastel.  His fly fishing activities primarily involve chasing trout in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New York.  He is a member of Trout Unlimited, Fly Fishers International, and Anglers of the Au Sable.
