Our Story

Hi, I'm Elizabeth, the owner and creator behind Kricket Lane.

When the world changed in 2020, I found myself furloughed from my job at a designer fabric company. With access to beautiful fabric remnants and a desire to stay busy, I began sewing face masks.

What started as donations to local organizations, friends, and family quickly grew into something much larger. As demand increased, I launched a brand called ResponsibleChic, offering stylish, thoughtfully made masks to customers across the country.

In a surprisingly short time, the business took off on Etsy and Amazon, reaching thousands of customers nationwide. As orders grew, it became a true family effort. My mother joined me in sewing, while my father and family helped cut and organize materials. Together, we proudly created more than 15,000 masks.

As my creativity expanded beyond face masks and into personalized gifts, home décor, and custom keepsakes, it became clear that the business needed a name that reflected a broader vision and would continue long after the pandemic.

That's when Kricket Lane was born.

Today, Kricket Lane is a reflection of everything I love—creating meaningful, beautifully crafted pieces that help celebrate life's special moments. Every order is thoughtfully designed and made with care, and I am incredibly grateful to do work that brings me so much joy and fulfillment.

Thank you for supporting my small business. I hope you love your Kricket Lane piece as much as I loved creating it for you.

Very Best,
Elizabeth
